Working Together

Being a person, in our everyday contemporary life, despite all the apparent advantages, can be psychologically tough, and everyone experiences difficulties in their own unique, particular way. This is why individual attention is necessary.

Working out your particular needs:

It may be that you are experiencing stress, anxiety or depression in your life right now,  or are experiencing relationship problems. It may be you have worries about the future, or want to understand past experiences. It may be something else altogether, or something difficult to talk about.

At our first meeting we will discuss your particular needs and how we might best work together.

There is no set amount of time – it is often helpful to commit to six sessions, and then we will review how things are going once we have started.

Ethics and confidentiality are described here.

Sessions & fees:

Sessions can be in person or via Zoom.

Sessions are for 50 minutes. The fee is £105 per session for self financing psychotherapy.  £115 standard fee. £120 for couples. £90 for clinical supervision. Fees are payable at the end of each session, by cash, cheque or electronically by agreement.

Once sessions are arranged, they will not be used to see other clients, so you will be responsible for paying if you miss an arranged session.

Private insurance: I am registered with most large private insurers, but please check first.
